I met my amazing wife Denna on a blind date in Southeast Idaho where we were both born and raised. In 1997 I graduated from Idaho State University with a degree in Economics and a passion for finance and investing. While working at Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor, I purchased the location for our first car dealership in Pocatello and dabbled in cars on the side. Soon after, 9/11 happened. Merrill Lynch was devastatingly affected as one of the 7 buildings lost was theirs. As a company, they decided to close their small satellite offices and I was forced to commute or change job direction. I decided to turn my side hustle with cars into my full time career. I haven't looked back since.
